As professional consultants, sometimes it can feel overwhelming to also work on getting more leads and clients. It's worse if sales is not your strength or passion - in fact, I found many quite dislike the ideas of sales so they use "networking" methods instead. But ultimately, regardless of which marketing we use - digital, social media, ads, networking, newspaper, magazine, tv, etc. Which is why I'm sharing about the essentials of dental marketing in this article.

We all do what we do because we want more sales.

Sales is the lifeline of our business to ensure its sustainability and thriving.
I have been in on the ground sales for more than a decade and venturing into Digital Marketing since 2017 made me see that there's a lot of gaps between marketing and sales. In fact I feel if marketing and sales effort can go hand in hand, businesses would thrive even better by focusing on efforts that matter.

Here are 9 dental marketing strategies that dental business can apply to get more sales through their existing content creation and or paid ads:

  1. Set up Reply SOP - well crafted and optimised to get more engagement & interest

  2. Use Automation tool for 24/7 Reply and customer service

  3. Integrate all messaging into 1 platform - never have to miss out any messages

  4. Train your team on Reply SOP - optimise your team's ability to deliver excellent customer experience = more sales

  5. Use CRM to manage all your leads, prospects, clients, past clients - to make better data-driven decisions and tweaks

  6. Create thought leadership - for easier sales

  7. Build a Lead Nurturing System - omnichannel - especially important if you want to scale

  8. Increase Touch points - customer journey - more touch points = shorten sales cycle, stay top of mind

  9. Retargeting ads - stay top of mind, nurture

These are quite a lot of apply, but often the overlooked works that actually help to bring in sales - instead of just mindlessly put out content, spend money to run ads.

Dental business owners need to have a dental marketing gameplan to also help their practices get more sales - without hard-selling, throwing discounts unnecessarily just to beat competition.
